WRITING INFLUENCE

Håvard REM

Håvard Rem was born on February 7th 1959 in Oslo in Norway. His first book has been published in 1977. Håvard has published collections of poems, religious books on Jesus life, and books on Bob Dylan and Leonhard Cohen. Håvard also worked for Aftenposten, Norwegian newspaper. Håvard has been becoming more and more popular for several years partly because he met Morten Harket in 1993. Indeed, the first solo album of Morten, Poetenes Evangelium, was at first the name of a collection of religious poems written by Håvard Rem. As a consequence, Morten figured out that the Engelem
poem could match with music to do a song. After the release of Poetenes Evangelium, they carried on with working together. Håvard actively participated to the following Morten's solo albums. Today, he carries on with working with a-ha albums in English.
His books have recently been translated into Russian which gave the opportunity to Håvard  to go to Moscow in November 2003.
